Service Description

This is our standard 45-minute diet review consultation delivered via Zoom video or phone (your choice) by Tom, Maryanne, Megan or Niki. In these review sessions, we will review your clinical progress and dietary changes. We will check to see if you are following our previous recommendations appropriately, and whether additional strategies are required. We will assess the nutritional adequacy of your dietary intake to ensure your nutritional priorities are being address, and you are meeting your nutrient requirements for all essential macro- and micronutrients. If you are struggling with any aspect of your suggested dietary approach, this is our opportunity to knuckle down and make adjustments. Remember, you are in the driver's seat. If something isn't working for you - tell us. Our job is to be your support person and guide you through the confusing world of dieting! If you like - we can use these review sessions to review recipes, new products, or even plan out what an ideal day of eating might look like. You might even have a particularly nutritional topic that interested you that you wish to discuss. Let us know if you want to cover any of the following: - the relationship between dietary fat, cholesterol and heart disease - the role of sodium in blood pressure management and heart health - the importance of dietary proteins for longevity - what is diabetes and how to prevent it - key nutrients for managing and preventing osteoporosis (low bone mineral density) - key nutrients for strengthening muscle and connective tissue - the role of diet in autoimmune disease - how to prevent or treat iron deficiency - the relationship between diet and mental health If you have not yet had an initial consult, please go back and book the Initial Diet Consult service.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment time to avoid being charged the $50.00 cancellation fee.
