Service Description

Do you need structure, guidance, practical advice and ongoing support to reset your metabolism and regain control of your health? This 12-week program is designed for people who are challenged with: - excess weight - weight loss resistance - low energy and fatigue - fatty liver - high blood pressure - high triglycerides (fat in the blood) - insulin resistance - type 2 diabetes - polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) - poor relationship with food - long history of restrictive dieting and yo-yo weight loss/regain This program is about arming you with the tools to make sustainable, long-term dietary changes backed by rigorous clinical trials, professional experiences and expert opinions. You can enjoy delicious meals while rebooting your health and reaching your goals. What you'll get in this program: - 1 x complex initial assessment with an Ellipse Health Dietitian (60 minutes) - 2 x complex review consultations with an Ellipse Health Dietitian (60 minutes each) - 300 minutes of health coaching support from Tracey Kimberley (split into 3 x 60 minute sessions or 6 x 30 minute sessions - that's up to you!) The Ellipse Health Dietitians delivering the Metabolic Reset Program are Thomas Paavola and Niki Mohtat. When you are scheduling your initial consult with the dietitian as part of this program, you can choose which dietitian you would like to complete the program with by selecting Tom or Niki as your "staff" member. After you complete your initial assessment with Niki or Tom, you will be introduced to Health Coach Tracey to set up your health coach support sessions. In your dietitian sessions, your Ellipse Health Dietitian will cover: - full assessment of your metabolic health, dieting history and dietary intake - organisation of blood tests with your usual health provider (e.g., GP) - detailed explanation of your blood tests so you have a complex understanding of your own metabolic health and nutritional status - identification and prioritisation of your top nutrition-related priorities - provision of a food list, sample meal plans and educational resources - support with blood glucose self-monitoring and dietary intake tracking In your health coaching sessions, Tracey Kimberley will cover: - product ideas and shopping lists - meal planning and recipe development - practical tips when eating meals outside of the house or social occasions - emotional/lifestyle support - making it work for the whole family!
