Caramel slice is just so good - there is no doubt about it. However you'll be pleased to know that this version is even BETTER than the original and is 100% sugar and grain free. The nuts are the star in this slice and every bite will leave you satiated and nourished. Feel free to play around with the quantities if you prefer a thicker/thinner base or thicker/thinner chocolate layer for example. However the best part is definitely the caramel filling. You may also like to add a little extra salt to the filling to give it a more "Snickers" like feel. Just taste as you go so you can get it how you like it. Try not to eat all the filling before it goes into the slice though... it is very easy to do!
