Meal in a Smoothie

Is decision fatigue getting the better of you? Healthy eating can require a LOT of planning and decision making. That's why meal replacement shakes can seem like an easy option... All you need to do is mix this powder with water and voila! You're meal is ready! However, most meal replacement shakes on the market contain synthetic vitamins, minerals, nasty fats and artificial colours/flavours. You might lose weight , but at what cost to health? I prefer to teach my clients how to use real food in simple and convenient ways.

This "Meal in a Smoothie" can replace one meal each day (any of them!) to help simplify your healthy eating regimen. If you always have these ingredients on hand then you'll never find yourself without a healthy option - even when you get home late from work and the last thing on your mind is cooking! The ingredients in this smoothie are packed full of essential nutrients important for helping your body shine from the inside out. This smoothie is also very low in carbohydrates, high in healthy fats and packed full of highly bio-available protein - so not only will you feel satiated for a long time, you're blood glucose and insulin levels will remain nice and stable (which is conducive to fat-burning!). And if that isn't enough, this smoothie is low in plant chemicals which can exacerbate inflammation in some people. Most green smoothies are packed full of raw vegetables like spinach, which can create problems related to increased intestinal permeability (i.e., leaky gut) if consumed in large amounts.
